और जब उन से मिला तो उसे अन्ताकिया में लाया, और ऐसा हुआ कि वे एक वर्ष तक कलीसिया के साथ मिलते और बहुत लोगों को उपदेश देते रहे, और चेले सब से पहिले अन्ताकिया ही में मसीही कहलाए॥

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
3 கிறிஸ்துவினுடைய இரகசியத்தினிமித்தம் கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கிற நான் அந்த இரகசியத்தைக்குறித்துப் பேசவேண்டியபிரகாரமாய்ப் பேசி, அதை வெளிப்படுத்துவதற்கு,
Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
4 திருவசனம் செல்லும்படியான வாசலை தேவன் திறந்தருளும்படி எங்களுக்காகவும் வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
5 புறம்பேயிருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக ஞானமாய் நடந்து காலத்தைப் பிரயோஜனப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
6 அவனவனுக்கு இன்னின்னபடி உத்தரவு சொல்லவேண்டுமென்று நீங்கள் அறியும்படிக்கு, உங்கள் வசனம் எப்பொழுதும் கிருபை பொருந்தினதாயும் உப்பால் சாரமேறினதாயுமிருப்பதாக.
Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
