Exodus 13:13
और गदही के हर एक पहिलौठे की सन्ती मेम्ना देकर उसको छुड़ा लेना, और यदि तुम उसे छुड़ाना न चाहो तो उसका गला तोड़ देना। पर अपने सब पहिलौठे पुत्रों को बदला देकर छुड़ा लेना।

| neck: his break shalt thou then it, | וַֽעֲרַפְתּ֑וֹ | waʿăraptô | va-uh-rahf-TOH |
| and all | וְכֹ֨ל | wĕkōl | veh-HOLE |
| the firstborn | בְּכ֥וֹר | bĕkôr | beh-HORE |
| man of | אָדָ֛ם | ʾādām | ah-DAHM |
| among thy children | בְּבָנֶ֖יךָ | bĕbānêkā | beh-va-NAY-ha |
