तब उसने स्वप्न में क्या देखा, कि एक सीढ़ी पृथ्वी पर खड़ी है, और उसका सिरा स्वर्ग तक पहुंचा है: और परमेश्वर के दूत उस पर से चढ़ते उतरते हैं।

on the earth, אַ֔רְצָה ʾereṣ eh-RETS
and the top וְרֹאשׁ֖וֹ rōš rohsh
of it reached מַגִּ֣יעַ nāgaʿ na-ɡA
to heaven: הַשָּׁמָ֑יְמָה šāmayim sha-ma-YEEM
and behold וְהִנֵּה֙ hinnē hee-NAY
the angels מַלְאֲכֵ֣י mălʾok mul-OKE
of God אֱלֹהִ֔ים ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
ascending עֹלִ֥ים ʿālâ ah-LA
and descending on it. וְיֹֽרְדִ֖ים yārad ya-RAHD
