Genesis 43 - DBY (Hindi)

1 And the famine was grievous in the land.और अकाल देश में और भी भयंकर होता गया।

2 And it came to pass, when they had finished eating the grain which they had brought from Egypt, that their father said to them, Go again, buy us a little food.जब वह अन्न जो वे मिस्र से ले आए थे समाप्त हो गया तब उनके पिता ने उन से कहा, फिर जा कर हमारे लिये थोड़ी सी भोजनवस्तु मोल ले आओ।

3 And Judah spoke to him, saying, The man did positively testify to us, saying, Ye shall not see my face, unless your brother be with you.तब यहूदा ने उससे कहा, उस पुरूष ने हम को चितावनी देकर कहा, कि यदि तुम्हारा भाई तुम्हारे संग न आए, तो तुम मेरे सम्मुख न आने पाओगे।

4 If thou wilt send our brother with us, we will go down and buy thee food;इसलिये यदि तू हमारे भाई को हमारे संग भेजे, तब तो हम जा कर तेरे लिये भोजनवस्तु मोल ले आएंगे;

5 but if thou do not send [him], we will not go down, for the man said to us, Ye shall not see my face, unless your brother be with you.परन्तु यदि तू उसको न भेजे, तो हम न जाएंगे: क्योंकि उस पुरूष ने हम से कहा, कि यदि तुम्हारा भाई तुम्हारे संग न हो, तो तुम मेरे सम्मुख न आने पाओगे।

6 And Israel said, Why did ye deal [so] ill with me [as] to tell the man whether ye had yet a brother?तब इस्राएल ने कहा, तुम ने उस पुरूष को यह बताकर कि हमारा एक और भाई है, क्यों मुझ से बुरा बर्ताव किया?

7 And they said, The man asked very closely after us, and after our kindred, saying, Is your father yet alive? have ye a brother? And we told him according to the tenor of these words. Could we at all know that he would say, Bring your brother down?उन्होंने कहा, जब उस पुरूष ने हमारी और हमारे कुटुम्बियों की दशा को इस रीति पूछा, कि क्या तुम्हारा पिता अब तक जीवित है? क्या तुम्हारे कोई और भाई भी है? तब हम ने इन प्रश्नों के अनुसार उससे वर्णन किया; फिर हम क्या जानते थे कि वह कहेगा, कि अपने भाई को यहां ले आओ।

8 And Judah said to Israel his father, Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go, that we may live, and not die, both we and thou and our little ones.फिर यहूदा ने अपने पिता इस्राएल से कहा, उस लड़के को मेरे संग भेज दे, कि हम चले जाएं; इस से हम, और तू, और हमारे बालबच्चे मरने न पाएंगे, वरन जीवित रहेंगे।

9 I will be surety for him: of my hand shalt thou require him; if I bring him not to thee, and set him before thy face, then shall I be guilty toward thee for ever.मैं उसका जामिन होता हूं; मेरे ही हाथ से तू उसको फेर लेना: यदि मैं उसको तेरे पास पहुंचाकर साम्हने न खड़ाकर दूं, तब तो मैं सदा के लिये तेरा अपराधी ठहरूंगा।

10 For had we not lingered, we should now certainly have returned already twice.यदि हम लोग विलम्ब न करते, तो अब तब दूसरी बार लौट आते।

11 And their father Israel said to them, If it is then so, do this: take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a gift: a little balsam and a little honey, tragacanth and ladanum, pistacia-nuts and almonds.तब उनके पिता इस्राएल ने उन से कहा, यदि सचमुच ऐसी ही बात है, तो यह करो; इस देश की उत्तम उत्तम वस्तुओं में से कुछ कुछ अपने बोरों में उस पुरूष के लिये भेंट ले जाओ: जैसे थोड़ा सा बलसान, और थोड़ा सा मधु, और कुछ सुगन्ध द्रव्य, और गन्धरस, पिस्ते, और बादाम।

12 And take other money in your hand, and the money that was returned to you in the mouth of your sacks, carry back in your hand: perhaps it is an oversight.फिर अपने अपने साथ दूना रूपया ले जाओ; और जो रूपया तुम्हारे बोरों के मुंह पर रखकर फेर दिया गया था, उसको भी लेते जाओ; कदाचित यह भूल से हुआ हो।

13 And take your brother, and arise, go again to the man.और अपने भाई को भी संग ले कर उस पुरूष के पास फिर जाओ,

14 And the Almighty ùGod give you mercy before the man, that he may send away your other brother and Benjamin! And I, if I be bereaved of children, am bereaved.और सर्वशक्तिमान ईश्वर उस पुरूष को तुम पर दयालु करेगा, जिस से कि वह तुम्हारे दूसरे भाई को और बिन्यामीन को भी आने दे: और यदि मैं निर्वंश हुआ तो होने दो।

15 And the men took that gift, and took double money in their hand, and Benjamin, and rose up, and went down to Egypt, and came before Joseph.तब उन मनुष्यों ने वह भेंट, और दूना रूपया, और बिन्यामीन को भी संग लिया, और चल दिए और मिस्र में पहुंचकर यूसुफ के साम्हने खड़े हुए।

16 And Joseph saw Benjamin with them, and said to the [man] who was over his house, Bring the men into the house, and slaughter cattle, and make ready; for the men shall eat with me at noon.उनके साथ बिन्यामीन को देखकर यूसुफ ने अपने घर के अधिकारी से कहा, उन मनुष्यों को घर में पहुंचा दो, और पशु मारके भोजन तैयार करो; क्योंकि वे लोग दोपहर को मेरे संग भोजन करेंगे।

17 And the man did as Joseph had said; and the man brought the men into Joseph's house.तब वह अधिकारी पुरूष यूसुफ के कहने के अनुसार उन पुरूषों को यूसुफ के घर में ले गया।

18 And the men were afraid because they were brought into Joseph's house, and said, Because of the money that was returned to us in our sacks at the beginning are we brought in, that he may turn against us, and fall upon us and take us for bondmen, and our asses.जब वे यूसुफ के घर को पहुंचाए गए तब वे आपस में डर कर कहने लगे, कि जो रूपया पहिली बार हमारे बोरों में फेर दिया गया था, उसी के कारण हम भीतर पहुंचाए गए हैं; जिस से कि वह पुरूष हम पर टूट पड़े, और हमें वश में करके अपने दास बनाए, और हमारे गदहों को भी छीन ले।

19 And they came up to the man that was over Joseph's house, and they spoke to him at the door of the house,तब वे यूसुफ के घर के अधिकारी के निकट जा कर घर के द्वार पर इस प्रकार कहने लगे,

20 and said, Ah! my lord, we came indeed down at the first to buy food.कि हे हमारे प्रभु, जब हम पहिली बार अन्न मोल लेने को आए थे,

21 And it came to pass when we came to the inn, that we opened our sacks, and behold, [every] man's money was in the mouth of his sack, our money according to its weight; and we have brought it again in our hand.तब हम ने सराय में पहुंचकर अपने बोरों को खोला, तो क्या देखा, कि एक एक जन का पूरा पूरा रूपया उसके बोरे के मुंह में रखा है; इसलिये हम उसको अपने साथ फिर लेते आए हैं।

22 And other money have we brought down in our hand to buy food. We do not know who put our money in our sacks.और दूसरा रूपया भी भोजनवस्तु मोल लेने के लिये लाए हैं; हम नहीं जानते कि हमारा रूपया हमारे बोरों में किस ने रख दिया था।

23 And he said, Peace be to you, fear not: your God, and the God of your father, has given you treasure in your sacks; your money came to me. And he brought Simeon out to them.उसने कहा, तुम्हारा कुशल हो, मत डरो: तुम्हारा परमेश्वर, जो तुम्हारे पिता का भी परमेश्वर है, उसी ने तुम को तुम्हारे बोरों में धन दिया होगा, तुम्हारा रूपया तो मुझ को मिल गया था: फिर उसने शिमोन को निकाल कर उनके संग कर दिया।

24 And the man brought the men into Joseph's house, and gave water, and they washed their feet; and he gave their asses food.तब उस जन ने उन मनुष्यों को यूसुफ के घर में ले जा कर जल दिया, तब उन्होंने अपने पांवों को धोया; फिर उसने उनके गदहों के लिये चारा दिया।

25 And they made ready the gift for Joseph's coming at noon; for they had heard that they should eat bread there.तब यह सुनकर, कि आज हम को यहीं भोजन करना होगा, उन्होंने यूसुफ के आने के समय तक, अर्थात दोपहर तक, उस भेंट को इकट्ठा कर रखा।

26 When Joseph came home, they brought him the gift that was in their hand, into the house, and bowed themselves to him to the earth.जब यूसुफ घर आया तब वे उस भेंट को, जो उनके हाथ में थी, उसके सम्मुख घर में ले गए, और भूमि पर गिरकर उसको दण्डवत किया।

27 And he asked them of their welfare, and said, Is your father well -- the old man of whom ye spoke? Is he yet alive?उसने उनका कुशल पूछा, और कहा, क्या तुम्हारा बूढ़ा पिता, जिसकी तुम ने चर्चा की थी, कुशल से है? क्या वह अब तक जीवित है?

28 And they said, Thy servant our father is well; he is yet alive. And they bowed, and made obeisance.उन्होंने कहा, हां तेरा दास हमारा पिता कुशल से है और अब तक जीवित है; तब उन्होंने सिर झुका कर फिर दण्डवत किया।

29 And he lifted up his eyes and saw his brother Benjamin, his mother's son, and said, Is this your younger brother of whom ye spoke to me? And he said, God be gracious to thee, my son!तब उसने आंखे उठा कर और अपने सगे भाई बिन्यामीन को देखकर पूछा, क्या तुम्हारा वह छोटा भाई, जिसकी चर्चा तुम ने मुझ से की थी, यही है? फिर उसने कहा, हे मेरे पुत्र, परमेश्वर तुझ पर अनुग्रह करे।

30 And Joseph made haste, for his bowels burned for his brother; and he sought [a place] to weep, and he went into the chamber, and wept there.तब अपने भाई के स्नेह से मन भर आने के कारण और यह सोचकर, कि मैं कहां जा कर रोऊं, यूसुफ फुर्ती से अपनी कोठरी में गया, और वहां रो पड़ा।

31 And he washed his face, and came out, and controlled himself, and said, Set on bread.फिर अपना मुंह धोकर निकल आया, और अपने को शांत कर कहा, भोजन परोसो।

32 And they set on for him by himself, and for them by themselves, and for the Egyptians who ate with him by themselves; because the Egyptians might not eat bread with the Hebrews, for that is an abomination unto the Egyptians.तब उन्होंने उसके लिये तो अलग, और भाइयों के लिये भी अलग, और जो मिस्री उसके संग खाते थे, उनके लिये भी अलग, भोजन परोसा; इसलिये कि मिस्री इब्रियों के साथ भोजन नहीं कर सकते, वरन मिस्री ऐसा करना घृणा समझते थे।

33 And they sat before him, the firstborn according to his birthright, and the youngest according to his youth; and the men marvelled one at another.सो यूसुफ के भाई उसके साम्हने, बड़े बड़े पहिले, और छोटे छोटे पीछे, अपनी अपनी अवस्था के अनुसार, क्रम से बैठाए गए: यह देख वे विस्मित हो कर एक दूसरे की ओर देखने लगे।

34 And he had portions carried to them from before him. And Benjamin's portion was five times greater than the portions of them all. And they drank, and made merry with him.तब यूसुफ अपने साम्हने से भोजन-वस्तुएं उठा उठाके उनके पास भेजने लगा, और बिन्यामीन को अपने भाइयों से पचगुणी अधिक भोजनवस्तु मिली। और उन्होंने उसके संग मनमाना खाया पिया।
