यह बुरा समाचार सुनकर वे लोग विलाप करने लगे; और कोई अपने गहने पहिने हुए न रहा।

| and no | וְלֹא | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| man | שָׁ֛תוּ | šātû | SHA-too |
| put did | אִ֥ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| on | עֶדְי֖וֹ | ʿedyô | ed-YOH |
