और उस ने उन से कहा; मैं तुम से सच कहता हूं, कि जो यहां खड़े हैं, उन में से कोई कोई ऐसे हैं, कि जब तक परमेश्वर के राज्य को सामर्थ सहित आता हुआ न देख लें, तब तक मृत्यु का स्वाद कदापि न चखेंगे॥

1 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಮನೆ ತನವು ಅನ್ಯಭಾಷೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಜನರೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ಹೊರಟಾಗ
When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;
2 ಯೆಹೂದನು ಆತನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳವೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಆತನ ದೊರೆತನವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು.
Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.
3 ಸಮುದ್ರವು ನೋಡಿ ಓಡಿಹೋಯಿತು; ಯೊರ್ದನ್‌ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿತು.
The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.
4 ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು ಟಗರುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಹಾರಾಡಿದವು.
The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.
5 ಸಮುದ್ರವೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಏನಾಯಿತು? ಯಾಕೆ ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೀ? ಯೊರ್ದನೇ, ಯಾಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುತ್ತೀ?
What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?
6 ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳೇ, ಟಗರುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳೇ, ನೀವು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಹಾರಾಡುವದು ಯಾಕೆ?
Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?
7 ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ನೀರಿನ ಕೆರೆಗೂ ಬೆಣಚು ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ನೀರಿನ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗೂ ಮಾರ್ಪಡಿಸುವ
Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
8 ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಭೂಮಿಯೇ, ನಡುಗು.
Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
