Isaiah 26:17
जैसे गर्भवती स्त्री जनने के समय ऐंठती और पीड़ों के कारण चिल्ला उठती है, हम लोग भी, हे यहोवा, तेरे साम्हने वैसे ही हो गए हैं।

| and crieth out | תִּזְעַ֖ק | tizʿaq | teez-AK |
| in her pangs; | בַּחֲבָלֶ֑יהָ | baḥăbālêhā | ba-huh-va-LAY-ha |
| so | כֵּ֛ן | kēn | kane |
| been we have | הָיִ֥ינוּ | hāyînû | ha-YEE-noo |
| in thy sight, | מִפָּנֶ֖יךָ | mippānêkā | mee-pa-NAY-ha |
| O Lord. | יְהוָֽה׃ | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
