Jeremiah 49:2
यहोवा की यह वाणी है, ऐसे दिन आने वाले हैं, कि मैं अम्मोनियों के रब्बा नाम नगर के विरुद्ध युद्ध की ललकार सुनवाऊंगा, और वह उजड़ कर खण्डहर हो जाएगा, और उसकी बस्तियां फूंक दी जाएंगी; तब जिन लोगों ने इस्राएलियों के देश को अपना लिया है, उनके देश को इस्राएली अपना लेंगे, यहोवा का यही वचन है।

| Rabbah | עַמּ֜וֹן | ʿammôn | AH-mone |
| of the Ammonites; | תְּרוּעַ֣ת | tĕrûʿat | teh-roo-AT |
| מִלְחָמָ֗ה | milḥāmâ | meel-ha-MA | |
| be shall it and | וְהָֽיְתָה֙ | wĕhāyĕtāh | veh-ha-yeh-TA |
| a desolate | לְתֵ֣ל | lĕtēl | leh-TALE |
| heap, | שְׁמָמָ֔ה | šĕmāmâ | sheh-ma-MA |
| daughters her and | וּבְנֹתֶ֖יהָ | ûbĕnōtêhā | oo-veh-noh-TAY-ha |
| shall be burned | בָּאֵ֣שׁ | bāʾēš | ba-AYSH |
| with fire: | תִּצַּ֑תְנָה | tiṣṣatnâ | tee-TSAHT-na |
| Israel shall then | וְיָרַ֧שׁ | wĕyāraš | veh-ya-RAHSH |
| be heir | יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
