Lamentations 5 - YLT (Hindi)

1 Remember, O Jehovah, what hath befallen us, Look attentively, and see our reproach.हे यहोवा, स्मरण कर कि हम पर क्या क्या बीता है; हमारी ओर दृष्टि कर के हमारी नामधराई को देख!

2 Our inheritance hath been turned to strangers, Our houses to foreigners.हमारा भाग परदेशियों का हो गया ओर हमारे घर परायों के हो गए हैं।

3 Orphans we have been -- without a father, our mothers `are' as widows.हम अनाथ और पिताहीन हो गए; हमारी माताएं विधवा सी हो गई हैं।

4 Our water for money we have drunk, Our wood for a price doth come.हम मोल ले कर पानी पीते हैं, हम को लकड़ी भी दाम से मिलती है।

5 For our neck we have been pursued, We have laboured -- there hath been no rest for us.खदेड़ने वाले हमारी गर्दन पर टूट पड़े हैं; हम थक गए हैं, हमें विश्राम नहीं मिलता।

6 `To' Egypt we have given a hand, `To' Asshur, to be satisfied with bread.हम स्वयं मिस्र के आधीन हो गए, और अश्शूर के भी, ताकि पेट भर सकें।

7 Our fathers have sinned -- they are not, We their iniquities have borne.हमारे पुरखाओं ने पाप किया, ओर मर मिटे हैं; परन्तु उनके अधर्म के कामों का भार हम को उठाना पड़ा है।

8 Servants have ruled over us, A deliverer there is none from their hand.हमारे ऊपर दास अधिकार रखते हैं; उनके हाथ से कोई हमें नहीं छुड़ाता।

9 With our lives we bring in our bread, Because of the sword of the wilderness.जंगल में की तलवार के कारण हम अपने प्राण जोखिम में डाल कर भोजनवस्तु ले आते हैं।

10 Our skin as an oven hath been burning, Because of the raging of the famine.भूख की झुलसाने वाली आग के कारण, हमारा चमड़ा तंदूर की नाईं काला हो गया है।

11 Wives in Zion they have humbled, Virgins -- in cities of Judah.सिय्योन में स्त्रियां, और यहूदा के नगरों में कुमारियां भ्रष्ट की गई हैं।

12 Princes by their hand have been hanged, The faces of elders have not been honoured.हाकिम हाथ के बल टांगे गए हैं; और पुरनियों का कुछ भी आदर नहीं किया गया।

13 Young men to grind they have taken, And youths with wood have stumbled.जवानों को चक्की चलानी पड़ती है; और लड़के-बाले लकड़ी का बोझ उठाते हुए लडखड़ाते हैं।

14 The aged from the gate have ceased, Young men from their song.अब फाटक पर पुरनिये नहीं बैठते, न जवानों का गीत सुनाईं पड़ता है।

15 Ceased hath the joy of our heart, Turned to mourning hath been our dancing.हमारे मन का हर्ष जाता रहा, हमारा नाचना विलाप में बदल गया है।

16 Fallen hath the crown `from' our head, Wo `is' now to us, for we have sinned.हमारे सिर पर का मुकुट गिर पड़ा है; हम पर हाय, क्योंकि हम ने पाप किया है!

17 For this hath our heart been sick, For these have our eyes been dim.इस कारण हमारा हृदय निर्बल हो गया है, इन्हीं बातों से हमारी आंखें धुंधली पड़ गई हैं,

18 For the mount of Zion -- that is desolate, Foxes have gone up on it.क्योंकि सिय्योन पर्वत उजाड़ पड़ा है; उस में सियार घूमते हैं।

19 Thou, O Jehovah, to the age remainest, Thy throne to generation and generation.परन्तु हे यहोवा, तू तो सदा तक विराजमान रहेगा; तेरा राज्य पीढ़ी-पीढ़ी बना रहेगा।

20 Why for ever dost Thou forget us? Thou forsakest us for length of days!तू ने क्यों हम को सदा के लिये भुला दिया है, और क्यों बहुत काल के लिये हमें छोड़ दिया है?

21 Turn us back, O Jehovah, unto Thee, And we turn back, renew our days as of old.हे यहोवा, हम को अपनी ओर फेर, तब हम फिर सुधर जाएंगे। प्राचीनकाल की नाईं हमारे दिन बदल कर ज्यों के त्यों कर दे!

22 For hast Thou utterly rejected us? Thou hast been wroth against us -- exceedingly?क्या तू ने हमें बिल्कुल त्याग दिया है? क्या तू हम से अत्यन्त क्रोधित है?
