तब याजक स्त्री को शपथ धरवाकर कहे, कि यदि किसी पुरूष ने तुझ से कुकर्म न किया हो, और तू पति को छोड़ दूसरे की ओर फिर के अशुद्ध न हो गई हो, तो तू इस कडुवे जल के गुण से जो शाप का कारण होता है बची रहे।

	אֹתָ֜הּ	ʾēt	ate
And the priest	הַכֹּהֵ֗ן	kōhēn	koh-HANE
and say	וְאָמַ֤ר	ʾāmar	ah-MAHR
unto	אֶל	ʾēl	ale
the woman,	הָֽאִשָּׁה֙	ʾiššâ	ee-SHA
If	אִם	ʾim	eem
no	לֹ֨א	lōʾ	loh
have lain	שָׁכַ֥ב	šākab	sha-HAHV
man	אִישׁ֙	ʾîš	eesh
with	אֹתָ֔ךְ	ʾēt	ate
thee, and if	וְאִם	ʾim	eem
thou hast not	לֹ֥א	lōʾ	loh
gone aside	שָׂטִ֛ית	śāṭâ	sa-TA
to uncleanness	טֻמְאָ֖ה	ṭumʾâ	toom-AH
instead of	תַּ֣חַת	taḥat	ta-HAHT
thy husband,	אִישֵׁ֑ךְ	ʾîš	eesh
be thou free	הִנָּקִ֕י	nāqâ	na-KA
water	מִמֵּ֛י	mayim	ma-YEEM
bitter	הַמָּרִ֥ים	mar	mahr
that causeth the curse:	הַֽמְאָרֲרִ֖ים	ʾārar	ah-RAHR
from this	הָאֵֽלֶּה׃	ʾēlle	ay-LEH
