Psalm 11
1 मेरा भरोसा परमेश्वर पर है; तुम क्योंकर मेरे प्राण से कह सकते हो कि पक्षी की नाईं अपने पहाड़ पर उड़ जा?
2 क्योंकि देखो, दुष्ट अपना धनुष चढ़ाते हैं, और अपना तीर धनुष की डोरी पर रखते हैं, कि सीधे मन वालों पर अन्धियारे में तीर चलाएं।
3 यदि नेवें ढ़ा दी जाएं तो धर्मी क्या कर सकता है?
4 परमेश्वर अपने पवित्र भवन में है; परमेश्वर का सिंहासन स्वर्ग में है; उसकी आंखें मनुष्य की सन्तान को नित देखती रहती हैं और उसकी पलकें उन को जांचती हैं।
5 यहोवा धर्मी को परखता है, परन्तु वह उन से जो दुष्ट हैं और उपद्रव से प्रीति रखते हैं अपनी आत्मा में घृणा करता है।
6 वह दुष्टों पर फन्दे बरसाएगा; आग और गन्धक और प्रचण्ड लूह उनके कटोरों में बांट दी जाएंगी।
7 क्योंकि यहोवा धर्मी है, वह धर्म के ही कामों से प्रसन्न रहता है; धर्मी जन उसका दर्शन पाएंगे॥

2 In the Lord put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
3 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
4 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
5 The Lord is in his holy temple, the Lord’s throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
6 The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
7 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
8 For the righteous Lord loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
