Psalm 115 - ASV (Hindi)

1 Not unto us, O Jehovah, not unto us, But unto thy name give glory, For thy lovingkindness, and for thy truth's sake.हे यहोवा, हमारी नहीं, हमारी नहीं, वरन अपने ही नाम की महिमा, अपनी करूणा और सच्चाई के निमित्त कर।

2 Wherefore should the nations say, Where is now their God?जाति जाति के लोग क्यों कहने पांए, कि उनका परमेश्वर कहां रहा?

3 But our God is in the heavens: He hath done whatsoever he pleased.हमारा परमेश्वर तो स्वर्ग में हैं; उसने जो चाहा वही किया है।

4 Their idols are silver and gold, The work of men's hands.उन लोगों की मूरतें सोने चान्दी ही की तो हैं, वे मनुष्यों के हाथ की बनाईं हुई हैं।

5 They have mouths, but they speak not; Eyes have they, but they see not;उनका मुंह तो रहता है परन्तु वे बोल नहीं सकती; उनके आंखें तो रहती हैं परन्तु वे देख नहीं सकतीं।

6 They have ears, but they hear not; Noses have they, but they smell not;उनके कान तो रहते हैं, परन्तु वे सुन नहीं सकतीं; उनके नाक तो रहती हैं, परन्तु वे सूंघ नहीं सकतीं।

7 They have hands, but they handle not; Feet have they, but they walk not; Neither speak they through their throat.उनके हाथ तो रहते हैं, परन्तु वे स्पर्श नहीं कर सकतीं; उनके पांव तो रहते हैं, परन्तु वे चल नहीं सकतीं; और अपने कण्ठ से कुछ भी शब्द नहीं निकाल सकतीं।

8 They that make them shall be like unto them; Yea, every one that trusteth in them.जैसी वे हैं वैसे ही उनके बनाने वाले हैं; और उन पर भरोसा रखने वाले भी वैसे ही हो जाएंगे॥

9 O Israel, trust thou in Jehovah: He is their help and their shield.हे इस्राएल यहोवा पर भरोसा रख! तेरा सहायक और ढाल वही है।

10 O house of Aaron, trust ye in Jehovah: He is their help and their shield.हे हारून के घराने यहोवा पर भरोसा रख! तेरा सहायक और ढाल वही है।

11 Ye that fear Jehovah, trust in Jehovah: He is their help and their shield.हे यहोवा के डरवैयो, यहोवा पर भरोसा रखो! तुम्हारा सहायक और ढाल वही है॥

12 Jehovah hath been mindful of us; he will bless `us': He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.यहोवा ने हम को स्मरण किया है; वह आशीष देगा; वह इस्राएल के घराने को आशीष देगा; वह हारून के घराने को आशीष देगा।

13 He will bless them that fear Jehovah, Both small and great.क्या छोटे क्या बड़े जितने यहोवा के डरवैये हैं, वह उन्हें आशीष देगा॥

14 Jehovah increase you more and more, You and your children.यहोवा तुम को और तुम्हारे लड़कों को भी अधिक बढ़ाता जाए!

15 Blessed are ye of Jehovah, Who made heaven and earth.यहोवा जो आकाश और पृथ्वी का कर्ता है, उसकी ओर से तुम अशीष पाए हो॥

16 The heavens are the heavens of Jehovah; But the earth hath he given to the children of men.स्वर्ग तो यहोवा का है, परन्तु पृथ्वी उसने मनुष्यों को दी है।

17 The dead praise not Jehovah, Neither any that go down into silence;मृतक जितने चुपचाप पड़े हैं, वे तो याह की स्तुति नहीं कर सकते,

18 But we will bless Jehovah From this time forth and for evermore. Praise ye Jehovah.परन्तु हम लोग याह को अब से ले कर सर्वदा तक धन्य कहते रहेंगे। याह की स्तुति करो!
