உன் பிராணனை வாங்கத்தேடுகிறவர்களின் கையிலும் நீ பயப்படுகிறவர்களின் கையிலும் உன்னை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்; பாபிலோன் ராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சாரின் கையிலும் கல்தேயரின் கையிலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்;

எகிப்து, தப்பிக்க முயலும்போது சுபசத்தமிடுகிற பாம்பைப்போல் உள்ளது. பகைவன் நெருங்கி வந்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறான். எகிப்தியப் படை தப்பித்து ஓட முயன்றுக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது. எகிப்தைப் பகைவர்கள் கோடரியால் தாக்குவார்கள். அது மரங்களை மனிதர்கள் வெட்டுவது போன்றிருக்கும்.”
