Jeremiah 47:4
பெலிஸ்தரையெல்லாம் பாழாக்கவும், தீருவுக்கும் சீதோனுக்கும் மீதியான சகாயரையெல்லாம் சங்காரம்பண்ணவும் வருகிற நாளிலே இப்படியாகும்; கப்தோர் என்னும் கடற்கரையான தேசத்தாரில் மீதியாகிய பெலிஸ்தரையும் கர்த்தர் பாழாக்குவார்.

| out of the north, | מִצָּפוֹן֙ | miṣṣāpôn | mee-tsa-FONE |
| and shall be | וְהָיוּ֙ | wĕhāyû | veh-ha-YOO |
| an overflowing | לְנַ֣חַל | lĕnaḥal | leh-NA-hahl |
| flood, | שׁוֹטֵ֔ף | šôṭēp | shoh-TAFE |
| and shall overflow | וְיִשְׁטְפוּ֙ | wĕyišṭĕpû | veh-yeesh-teh-FOO |
| the land, | אֶ֣רֶץ | ʾereṣ | EH-rets |
| and all that is therein; | וּמְלוֹאָ֔הּ | ûmĕlôʾāh | oo-meh-loh-AH |
| the city, | עִ֖יר | ʿîr | eer |
| and them that dwell | וְיֹ֣שְׁבֵי | wĕyōšĕbê | veh-YOH-sheh-vay |
| therein: then the men | בָ֑הּ | bāh | va |
| shall cry, | וְזָֽעֲקוּ֙ | wĕzāʿăqû | veh-za-uh-KOO |
| and all | הָֽאָדָ֔ם | hāʾādām | ha-ah-DAHM |
| the inhabitants | וְהֵילִ֕ל | wĕhêlil | veh-hay-LEEL |
| of the land | כֹּ֖ל | kōl | kole |
| shall howl. | יוֹשֵׁ֥ב | yôšēb | yoh-SHAVE |
| הָאָֽרֶץ׃ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
