அவன் போஜனத்தில் ஒன்றும் மீதியாவதில்லை; ஆகையால் அவன் ஆஸ்தி நிலைநிற்பதில்லை.

அவர் மலைகளை உருவாக்கினவரும், காற்றை உருவாக்கினவரும், மனிதனுடைய நினைவுகள் இன்னதென்று அவனுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்துகிறவரும், அதிகாலையை இருளாக்குகிறவரும், பூமியினுடைய உயர்ந்த இடங்களின்மேல் உலாவுகிறவருமாக இருக்கிறார்; சேனைகளின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்பது அவருடைய நாமம்.

நான் யார்? நானே மலைகளைப் படைத்தவர். நான் உங்கள் இருதயங்களையும் உண்டாக்கினவர். நான் ஜனங்களுக்கு எவ்வாறு பேசவேண்டும் என்று கற்றுக்கொடுத்தேன். நான் இருளை விடியற் காலையாக மாற்றினேன். நான் பூமியின் மேலுள்ள மலைகைளின் மேல் நடக்கிறேன். நான் யார்? எனது நாமம் சேனைகளின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்.
