அதற்கு அவள் உங்கள் வார்த்தையின்படியே ஆகக்கடவது என்று சொல்லி, அவர்களை அனுப்பிவிட்டாள்; அவர்கள் போய்விட்டார்கள்; பின்பு அவள் அந்தச் சிவப்புக் கயிற்றை ஜன்னலிலே கட்டிவைத்தாள்.

அப்பொழுது ராஜாவின் கண்களுக்குப் பிரியமான கன்னி, வஸ்திக்கு பதிலாகப் பட்டத்து ராணியாகவேண்டும் என்றார்கள்; இந்த வார்த்தை ராஜாவிற்கு நலமாகத் தோன்றியபடியால் அப்படியே செய்தான்.
