ದಾವೀದನು ಇರುವ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಬರಿದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಸೌಲನು ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಏನೂ ಹೇಳದೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿರಬೇಕು; ಅವನು ಅಶುಚಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅಶುಚಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡನು.
