ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಕುಮಾ ರರನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಿಂಹಾ ಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನನ್ನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡನು.

ಇಗೋ, ಸಮಾ ಧಾನವುಳ್ಳ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿರುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹುಟ್ಟುವನು; ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಅವನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು. ಅವ ನಿಗೆ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರಾಗುವದು; ಅವನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ವನ್ನೂ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
