ಆಗ ಮಾರೇ ಷಾದವನಾಗಿರುವ ದೋದಾವಾಹುವಿನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲೀಯೆಜರನು ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಿ--ನೀನು ಅಹಜ್ಯನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸೇರಿ ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಹಡಗುಗಳು ತಾರ್ಷಿ ಷಿಗೆ ಹೋಗ ಕೂಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಒಡೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು.
