ಒಬ್ಬನು ತೊಲೆಯನ್ನು ಬೀಳಿಸುವಾಗ ಕೊಡಲಿಯು ನೀರಿನೊಳಗೆ ಬಿತ್ತು. ಆಗ ಅವನು--ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಯಜಮಾನನೇ, ಅದು ಎರವಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡದ್ದು ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನು -- ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಕರ್ತನು ಈ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಅರಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಮೋವಾ ಬ್ಯರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡಲು ಕರೆದಿದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂದನು.

ಒಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಂದ ಪಶುವನ್ನು ಎರವಾಗಿತಕ್ಕೊಂಡಿರಲಾಗಿ ಒಡೆಯನು ಅದರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಇಲ್ಲದಿ ರುವಾಗ ಆ ಪಶುವು ಊನವಾದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅದು ಸತ್ತರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಬದಲು ಕೊಡ ಬೇಕು.
