1 And it came to pass after this, that Absalom the son of David had a fair sister, whose name was Tamar; and Amnon the son of David loved her.ತರುವಾಯ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ದಾವೀದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನಿಗೆ ತಾಮಾರಳೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರುಳ್ಳ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವತಿಯಾದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಹೋದರಿ ಇದ್ದಳು. ಅವಳನ್ನು ದಾವೀದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡಿದನು.

2 And Amnon was so afflicted, that he fell sick for his sister Tamar; for she was a virgin; and Amnon thought it hard for him to do any thing to her.ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯಾದ ತಾಮಾರಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಬಹು ತಾಪಪಟ್ಟು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾದನು; ಅವಳು ಕನ್ನಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಳು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಏನಾದರೂ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಮ್ನೋನನಿಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

3 But Amnon had a friend, whose name was Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David's brother: and Jonadab was a very subtil man.ಆದರೆ ಅಮ್ನೋನನಿಗೆ ದಾವೀದನ ಸಹೋದರನಾಗಿರುವ ಶಿಮ್ಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋನಾದಾಬನೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನಿದ್ದನು. ಈ ಯೋನಾದಾಬನು ಮಹಾ ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ ದ್ದನು.

4 And he said to him, Why art thou, being the king's son, pining from day to day? wilt thou not tell me? And Amnon said to him, I love Tamar, my brother Absalom's sister.ಇವನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಅರಸನ ಮಗನಾದ ನೀನು ದಿನದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾಕೆ ಕ್ಷೀಣನಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೀ? ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾಗಿರುವ ಅಬ್ಷಾ ಲೋಮನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯಾದ ತಾಮಾರಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

5 And Jonadab said to him, Lay thee down on thy bed, and make thyself sick: and when thy father cometh to see thee, say to him, I pray thee, let my sister Tamar come, and give me food, and dress the food in my sight, that I may see it, and eat it at her hand.ಆಗ ಯೋನಾದಾಬನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ರೋಗಿಷ್ಟನ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಂಚದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗು; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ಬರುವಾಗ ನೀನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯಾದ ತಾಮಾರಳು ಬರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ದಯಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ನಾನು ಅವಳ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಉಣ್ಣುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವಳು ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣೆದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ನನಗೆ ಆಹಾರ ಕೊಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು.

6 So Amnon lay down and made himself sick: and when the king came to see him, Amnon said to the king, I pray thee, let Tamar my sister come, and make for me a couple of cakes in my sight, that I may eat at her hand.ಅವನು ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ರೋಗಿಷ್ಟನ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಲಗಿದನು. ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯಾದ ತಾಮಾರಳು ಬರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ದಯಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ನಾನು ಅವಳ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಉಣ್ಣುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವಳು ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಮುಂದೆ ಎರಡು ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲಿ ಅಂದನು.

7 Then David sent home to Tamar, saying, Go now to thy brother Amnon's house, and dress meat for him.ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತಾಮಾರಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಡಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡು ಅಂದನು.

8 So Tamar went to her brother Amnon's house; and he was laid down. And she took flour, and kneaded it, and made cakes in his sight, and baked the cakes.ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದಳು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಮಲಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವಳು ಹಿಟ್ಟನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಮುಂದೆ ಹಿಸಿಕಿ ನಾದಿ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟಳು.

9 And she took a pan, and poured them out before him; but he refused to eat. And Amnon said, Have out all men from me. And they went out every man from him.ಆದರೆ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು--ನಾನು ಉಣ್ಣುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋದರು.

10 And Amnon said to Tamar, Bring the food into the chamber, that I may eat from thy hand. And Tamar took the cakes which she had made, and brought them into the chamber to Amnon her brother.ಆಗ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಿನ್ನುವಂತೆ ಆ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಠಡಿ ಯೊಳಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತಾಮಾರಳು ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಠಡಿ ಯೊಳಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಳು.

11 And when she had brought them to him to eat, he took hold of her, and said to her, Come, lie with me, my sister.ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಉಣ್ಣುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವಳು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಂದಾಗ ಅವನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಅವಳಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋ ದರಿಯೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗು; ಬಾ ಅಂದನು.

12 And she answered him, Nay, my brother, do not force me; for no such thing ought to be done in Israel: do not thou this folly.ಅದಕ್ಕವಳು--ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನೇ, ಬೇಡ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಮಾಡಬೇಡ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಥಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಮಾಡಕೂಡದು; ಇಂಥಾ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನ ವಾದ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಡ.

13 And I, whither shall I cause my shame to go? and as for thee, thou wilt be as one of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, I pray thee, speak to the king; for he will not withhold me from thee.ನಾನಾದರೋ ನನ್ನ ನಿಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಮಾಡಲಿ; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನರೊಳಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬನ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರುವಿ. ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಈಗ ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಅರಸನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡು; ಅವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೇಗಾದರೂ ಹಿಂತೆಗೆಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದಳು.

14 Howbeit, he would not hearken to her voice: but being stronger than she, forced her, and lay with her.ಅವನು ಅವಳ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ತಾನು ಅವಳಿಗಿಂತ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕುಂದಿಸಿ ಅವಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗಿದನು.

15 Then Amnon hated her exceedingly; so that the hatred with which he hated her was greater than the love with which he had loved her. And Amnon said to her, Arise, be gone.ಆಗ ಅಮ್ನೊನನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಹಗೆಮಾಡಿದನು; ಅವನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡಿದ ಹಗೆಯು ಮೊದಲು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಗಿಂತ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ--ಎದ್ದು ಹೋಗು ಅಂದನು.

16 And she said to him, There is no cause: this evil in sending me away is greater than the other that thou didst to me. But he would not hearken to her.ಆಗ ಅವಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲ; ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಆ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನಕ್ಕಿಂತ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುವ ಈ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವು ಮತ್ತೂ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿದೆ ಅಂದಳು.

17 Then he called his servant that ministered to him, and said, Put now this woman out from me, and bolt the door after her.ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಅವಳ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವ ತನ್ನ ದಾಸರನ್ನು ಕರೆದು--ಇವಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಳ್ಳಿ ಬಾಗಲು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಬೀಗಹಾಕು ಅಂದನು.

18 And she had a garment of divers colors upon her: for with such robes were the king's daughters that were virgins appareled. Then his servant brought her out, and bolted the door after her.ಅವಳು ವಿವಿಧವಾದ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಉಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಳು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅರಸನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರಾದ ಕನ್ಯಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಇಂಥಾ ನಿಲುವಂಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಬಾಗಲು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಬೀಗಹಾಕಿದನು.

19 And Tamar put ashes on her head, and rent her garment of divers colors that was on her, and laid her hand on her head, and went on crying.ಆಗ ತನ್ನ ತಲೆಯಮೇಲೆ ಬೂದಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ತಾನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ವಿವಿಧವಾದ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹರಿದು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಹೋದಳು.

20 And Absalom her brother said to her, Hath Amnon thy brother been with thee? but hold now thy peace, my sister: he is thy brother; regard not this thing. So Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom's house.ಆಗ ಅವಳ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ --ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದನೋ? ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯೇ, ಈಗ ಮೌನ ವಾಗಿರು; ಅವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನು; ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯ ವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತಾಮಾರಳು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂಟಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಳು.

21 But when king David heard of all these things, he was very wroth.ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನು ಇವುಗಳನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಬಹುಕೋಪಗೊಂಡನು.

22 And Absalom spoke to his brother Amnon neither good nor bad: for Absalom hated Amnon, because he had forced his sister Tamar.ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾ ದರೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದಾದರೂ ಮಾತನಾಡದೆ ಇದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯಾದ ತಾಮಾರಳನ್ನು ಬಲವಂತ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

23 And it came to pass after two full years, that Absalom had sheep-shearers in Baal-hazor, which is beside Ephraim: and Absalom invited all the king's sons.ಎರಡು ವರುಷ ಪೂರ್ಣಮುಗಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನಿಗೆ ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮ್‌ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಾಳ್‌ಹಾಚೋರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುರಿಗಳ ಉಣ್ಣೆ ಕತ್ತರಿಸುವವರಿದ್ದರು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಅರಸನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಔತಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದನು.

24 And Absalom came to the king, and said, Behold now, thy servant hath sheep-shearers; let the king, I beseech thee, and his servants go with thy servant.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ--ಇಗೋ, ಈಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಿಗೆ ಉಣ್ಣೆ ಕತ್ತರಿಸುವವರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅರಸನೂ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರಲಿ ಅಂದನು.

25 And the king said to Absalom, Nay, my son, let us not all now go, lest we be chargeable to thee. And he pressed him: yet he would not go, but blessed him.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅರಸನು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮ ನಿಗೆ--ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ನಾವು ನಿನಗೆ ಭಾರವಾಗಿರದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರು ಈಗ ಬರುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು ರಾಜನನ್ನು ಬಲವಂತ ಮಾಡಿದನು; ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಹೋಗಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಆಶೀ ರ್ವದಿಸಿದನು.

26 Then said Absalom, If not, I pray thee, let my brother Amnon go with us. And the king said to him, Why should he go with thee?ಆಗ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು--ಹಾಗಾ ದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರಲಿ ಅಂದನು.

27 But Absalom pressed him that he should let Amnon and all the king's sons go with him.ಅರಸನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಯಾಕೆ ಅವನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಲವಂತ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅಮ್ನೋನನನ್ನೂ ಅರಸನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.

28 Now Absalom had commanded his servants, saying, Mark ye now when Amnon's heart is merry with wine, and when I say to you, Smite Amnon; then kill him, fear not: have I not commanded you? be courageous, and be valiant.ಆದರೆ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಅಮ್ನೋನನ ಹೃದಯವು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ ದಿಂದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮವಾಗಿರುವಾಗ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಮ್ನೋನ ನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಲೇ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿರಿ; ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನಲ್ಲಾ. ಬಲವಾಗಿರಿ; ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿಗಳಾ ಗಿರ್ರಿ; ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.

29 And the servants of Absalom did to Amnon as Absalom had commanded. Then all the king's sons arose, and every man rode upon his mule, and fled.ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋ ಮನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರು ಅಮ್ನೋನನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆಗ ಅರಸನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆ ಲ್ಲರೂ ಎದ್ದು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೇಸರ ಕತ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನೇರಿ ಓಡಿಹೋದರು.

30 And it came to pass, while they were in the way, that information came to David, saying, Absalom hath slain all the king's sons, and there is not one of them left.ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ--ಅಬ್ಷಾ ಲೋಮನು ಅರಸನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ, ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಉಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ದಾವೀ ದನಿಗೆ ವರ್ತಮಾನ ಬಂತು.

31 Then the king arose, and tore his garments, and lay on the earth; and all his servants stood by with their clothes rent.ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಎದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಂಡು ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದನು; ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ನಿಂತರು.

32 And Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David's brother, answered and said, Let not my lord suppose that they have slain all the young men the king's sons; for Amnon only is dead: for by the appointment of Absalom this hath been determined from the day that he forced his sister Tamar.ಆದರೆ ದಾವೀದನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಶಿಮ್ಮನ ಮಗನಾಗಿ ರುವ ಯೋನಾದಾಬನು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ--ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಅರಸನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರೆಂದು ನೆನಸಬೇಡ; ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಸತ್ತನು; ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋ ದರಿಯಾದ ತಾಮಾರಳನ್ನು ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ಬಲವಂತ ಮಾಡಿದ ದಿನ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರಮಾಡಿದ್ದನು;

33 Now therefore let not my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king's sons are dead: for Amnon only is dead.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ ಅರಸನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಲ್ಲರು ಸತ್ತರೆಂಬುವ ಮಾತನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಲ್ಲಿಡಬೇಡ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಸತ್ತನು ಅಂದನು.

34 But Absalom fled. And the young man that kept the watch lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold, there came many people by the way of the hillside behind him.ಆದರೆ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಓಡಿ ಹೋದನು; ಆಗ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನು ತನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ನೋಡುವಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಅವನ ಹಿಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವದ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕ ಜನರು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

35 And Jonadab said to the king, Behold, the king's sons come; as thy servant said, so it is.ಆಗ ಯೋನಾದಾಬನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆಇಗೋ, ಅರಸನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವ ಕನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಯಿತು ಅಂದನು.

36 And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of speaking, that behold, the king's sons came, and lifted up their voice and wept: and the king also and all his servants wept exceedingly.ಅವನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ತೀರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಅರಸನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಬಂದು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಅತ್ತರು. ಅರಸನೂ ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೇವಕರೂ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಅತ್ತರು.

37 But Absalom fled, and went to Talmai, the son of Ammihud, king of Geshur. And David mourned for his son every day.ಆದರೆ ಅಬ್ಷಾ ಲೋಮನು ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಗೆಷೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವ ಅವ್ಮೆಾಹೂದನ ಮಗನಾದ ತಲ್ಮೈಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ದಾವೀದನು ದಿನಂಪ್ರತಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗಾಗಿ ದುಃಖಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

38 So Absalom fled, and went to Geshur, and was there three years.ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಗೆಷೂರಿಗೆ ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ವರುಷ ಇದ್ದನು.

39 And the soul of king David longed to go forth to Absalom: for he was comforted concerning Amnon, seeing he was dead.ಆದರೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸೆಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅಮ್ನೋನನು ಸತ್ತುಹೋದದರಿಂದ ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನು ಅವನಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಆದರಣೆಹೊಂದಿದನು.
