Ecclesiastes 8:8
ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿ ಯುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೂ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮರಣ ದಿನವನ್ನು ತಡೆಯುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಯುದ್ಧದಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯೂ ಹೇಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದುಷ್ಟನಿಗೆ ಅದರಿಂದ ಬಿಡು ಗಡೆಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
