ವಾರದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಮುರಿಯುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಬಂದಾಗ ಮರು ದಿನ ಹೊರಡಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದ ಪೌಲನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸಂಗಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿಯ ವರೆಗೂ ಉಪದೇಶ ವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದನು.
