Deuteronomy 16:2
ಹೀಗಿರುವ ದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಕುರಿಪಶುಗಳ ಪಸ್ಕವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು.

| herd, the and | וּבָקָ֑ר | ûbāqār | oo-va-KAHR |
| in the place | בַּמָּקוֹם֙ | bammāqôm | ba-ma-KOME |
| which | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| the Lord | יִבְחַ֣ר | yibḥar | yeev-HAHR |
| choose shall | יְהוָ֔ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| to place | לְשַׁכֵּ֥ן | lĕšakkēn | leh-sha-KANE |
| his name | שְׁמ֖וֹ | šĕmô | sheh-MOH |
