Deuteronomy 20:13
ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅದನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಅದರ ಗಂಡಸರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆಯಬೇಕು.

| smite shalt thou | וְהִכִּיתָ֥ | wĕhikkîtā | veh-hee-kee-TA |

| every | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| male | זְכוּרָ֖הּ | zĕkûrāh | zeh-hoo-RA |
| edge the with thereof | לְפִי | lĕpî | leh-FEE |
| of the sword: | חָֽרֶב׃ | ḥāreb | HA-rev |
