Deuteronomy 8:1
ನೀವು ಬದುಕಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ಈಹೊತ್ತು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆಯಬೇಕು; ಎಡಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಬಲಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ತಿರುಗಬೇಡಿರಿ.
