Deuteronomy 9:3
ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಈಹೊತ್ತು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳತಕ್ಕದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವ ರಾದ ಕರ್ತನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ದಾಟಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆತನು ದಹಿಸುವ ಅಗ್ನಿಯಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡು ವನು; ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ತಗ್ಗಿಸುವನು; ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬೇಗ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವಿ.
