Ecclesiastes 4:1
ಹೀಗೆ ನಾನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಕೆಳಗೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹಿಂಸೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾನು ಯೋಚಿಸಿದೆನು; ಹಿಂಸಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರ ಕಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆದರಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವ ದನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿದೆನು; ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸೆಪಡಿಸುವವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಇತ್ತು; ಆದರೆ ಇವರನ್ನು ಆದರಿಸುವವನು ಯಾವನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

the oppressions	הָ֣עֲשֻׁקִ֔ים	ʿāšûq	ah-SHOOK
that	אֲשֶׁ֥ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
are done	נַעֲשִׂ֖ים	ʿāśâ	ah-SA
under	תַּ֣חַת	taḥat	ta-HAHT
the sun:	הַשָּׁ֑מֶשׁ	šemeš	sheh-MESH
and behold	וְהִנֵּ֣ה׀	hinnē	hee-NAY
the tears	דִּמְעַ֣ת	dimʿâ	deem-AH
of oppressed,	הָעֲשֻׁקִ֗ים	ʿāšûq	ah-SHOOK
and they had no	וְאֵ֤ין	ʾayin	ah-YEEN
	לָהֶם֙
comforter;	מְנַחֵ֔ם	nāḥam	na-HAHM
and on the side	וּמִיַּ֤ד	yād	yahd
of their oppressors	עֹֽשְׁקֵיהֶם֙	ʿāšaq	ah-SHAHK
power;	כֹּ֔חַ	kōaḥ	KOH-ak
but they had no	וְאֵ֥ין	ʾayin	ah-YEEN
	לָהֶ֖ם
comforter.	מְנַחֵֽם׃	nāḥam	na-HAHM
