Exodus 13:13
ಮೊದಲು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಕತ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕುರಿಮರಿ ಯಿಂದ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಬೇಕು. ಹಾಗೆ ವಿಮೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡದೆಹೋದರೆ ಅದರ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮುರಿಯಬೇಕು. ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಗಂಡುಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ನೀನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಬೇಕು.

| redeem | תִפְדֶּ֖ה | tipde | teef-DEH |
| neck: his break shalt thou then it, | וַֽעֲרַפְתּ֑וֹ | waʿăraptô | va-uh-rahf-TOH |
| and all | וְכֹ֨ל | wĕkōl | veh-HOLE |
| the firstborn | בְּכ֥וֹר | bĕkôr | beh-HORE |
| man of | אָדָ֛ם | ʾādām | ah-DAHM |
| among thy children | בְּבָנֶ֖יךָ | bĕbānêkā | beh-va-NAY-ha |
