Genesis 10
1 ನೋಹನ ಕುಮಾರರಾದ ಶೇಮ್‌ ಹಾಮ್‌ ಯೆಫೆತರ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಗಳು ಇವೇ. ಪ್ರಳಯವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
2 ಯೆಫೆತನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಯಾರಂದರೆ, ಗೋಮೆರ್‌ ಮಾಗೋಗ್‌ ಮಾದಯ್‌ ಯಾವಾನ್‌ ತೂಬಲ್‌ ಮೇಷೆಕ್‌ ತೀರಾಸ್‌ ಎಂಬವರು.
3 ಗೋಮೆರನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಯಾರಂದರೆ, ಅಷ್ಕೆನಸ್‌ ರೀಫತ್‌ ತೋಗರ್ಮ ಎಂಬವರು.
4 ಯಾವಾನನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಯಾರಂದರೆ, ಎಲೀಷಾ ತಾರ್ಷೀಷ್‌ ಕಿತ್ತೀಮ್‌ ದೋದಾನಿಮ್‌ ಇವರೇ.
5 ಇವರು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ದ್ವೀಪಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರವರ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರವರ ಭಾಷೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರವರ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.
6 ಹಾಮನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಯಾರಂದರೆ, ಕೂಷ್‌ ಮಿಚ್ರಯಿಮ್‌ ಪೂತ್‌ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ಎಂಬವರು.
7 ಕೂಷನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಯಾರಂದರೆ, ಸೆಬಾ ಹವೀಲ ಸಬ್ತಾ ರಗ್ಮ ಸಬ್ತಕಾ ಎಂಬವರು. ರಗ್ಮನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಯಾರಂದರೆ, ಶೆಬಾ ದೆದಾನ್‌ ಎಂಬವರು.
8 ಕೂಷನಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ರೋದನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು. ಇವನು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನಾಗಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.
9 ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನಾದ ಬೇಟೆಗಾರನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಆದದರಿಂದ--ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನಾದ ಬೇಟೆ ಗಾರನಾಗಿದ್ದ ನಿಮ್ರೋದನು ಎಂಬ ಮಾತು ಹೇಳ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
10 ಶಿನಾರ್‌ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಾಬೆಲ್‌ ಯೆರೆಕ್‌ ಅಕ್ಕದ್‌ ಕಲ್ನೇ ಎಂಬವು ಅವನ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು.
11 ಆ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅಶ್ಶೂರನು ಹೊರಟು ನಿನವೆ ರೆಹೋಬೋತ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣ, ಕೆಲಹ,
12 ನಿನವೆಗೂ ಕೆಲಹಕ್ಕೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾಗಿರುವ ರೆಸೆನ್‌ನನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದನು.
13 ಮಿಚ್ರಯಿಮ್ಯನಿಂದ ಲೂದ್ಯರೂ ಅನಾಮ್ಯರೂ ಲೆಹಾಬ್ಯರೂ ನಫ್ತುಹ್ಯರೂ
14 ಪತ್ರುಸ್ಯರೂ ಕಸ್ಲುಹ್ಯರೂ ಕಫ್ತೋರ್ಯರೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಇವರಿಂದ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಹೊರಬಂದರು.
15 ಕಾನಾನನಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೀದೊನನೂ ಹೇತನೂ
16 ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯನೂ ಅಮೋರಿಯನೂ ಗಿರ್ಗಾಷಿಯನೂ
17 ಹಿವ್ವಿಯನೂ ಅರ್ಕಿಯನೂ ಸೀನಿಯನೂ
18 ಅರ್ವಾದಿಯನೂ ಚೆಮಾರಿಯನೂ ಹಮಾತಿಯನೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ತರುವಾಯ ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿ ಹರಡಿದವು.
19 ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರ ಮೇರೆಯು ಸೀದೋನಿ ನಿಂದ ಗೆರಾರಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಗಾಜಾದ ವರೆಗೆ ಸೊದೋಮ್‌ ಗೊಮೋರ ಅದ್ಮಾ ಚೆಬೋಯಿಮ್‌ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಲೆಷಾದ ವರೆಗೂ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.
20 ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತಮ್ಮ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಜನಾಂಗ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ಹಾಮನ ಕುಮಾರರು.
21 ಯೆಬೆರನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಲ್ಲರ ತಂದೆಯೂ ಹಿರಿಯನಾದ ಯೆಫೆತನ ಸಹೋದರನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಶೇಮನಿಗೆ ಸಹ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
22 ಶೇಮನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯಾರಂದರೆ, ಏಲಾಮ್‌ ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್‌ ಅರ್ಪಕ್ಷದ್‌ ಲೂದ್‌ ಅರಾಮ್‌.
23 ಅರಾಮನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಯಾರಂದರೆ, ಊಸ್‌ ಹೂಲ್‌ ಗೆತೆರ್‌ ಮಷ್‌ ಇವರೇ.
24 ಅರ್ಪಕ್ಷದನಿಂದ ಶೆಲಹನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು. ಶೆಲಹ ನಿಂದ ಎಬರನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
25 ಎಬರನಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಕುಮಾರರು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಒಬ್ಬನ ಹೆಸರು ಪೆಲೆಗನು, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಮಿಯು ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು. ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರನ ಹೆಸರು ಯೊಕ್ತಾನ್‌.
26 ಯೊಕ್ತಾನನಿಂದ ಅಲ್ಮೋದಾದನೂ ಶೆಲೆಪನೂ ಹಚರ್ಮಾವೆತನೂ ಯೆರಹನೂ
27 ಹದೋರಾಮನೂ ಊಜಾಲನೂ ದಿಕ್ಲಾನನೂ
28 ಓಬಾಲನೂ ಅಬೀಮಯೇಲನೂ ಶೆಬನೂ
29 ಓಫೀರನೂ ಹವೀಲನೂ ಯೋಬಾಬನೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೊಕ್ತಾನನ ಕುಮಾರರು.
30 ಅವರ ನಿವಾಸವು ಮೇಶಾದಿಂದ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಬೆಟ್ಟವಾಗಿರುವ ಸೆಫಾರಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಇತ್ತು.
31 ಇವರೇ ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತಮ್ಮ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಶೇಮನ ಕುಮಾರರು.
32 ವಂಶಾವಳಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೂ ಅನುಸಾರ ವಾಗಿರುವ ನೋಹನ ಕುಮಾರರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು ಇವೇ. ಪ್ರಳಯವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇವರಿಂದ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವು.
1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.
2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3 And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4 And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5 By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
6 And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.
7 And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord.
10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
11 Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,
12 And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.
13 And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
14 And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim.
15 And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,
16 And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,
17 And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
18 And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.
19 And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.
20 These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.
21 Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.
22 The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
23 And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
24 And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.
25 And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.
26 And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
27 And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
28 And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
29 And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.
30 And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east.
31 These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.
32 These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
1 O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.
4 Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
6 O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
7 He is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
8 He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
12 When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
14 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.
17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.
20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
26 He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
27 They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30 Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
31 He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
32 He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
33 He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
34 He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
35 And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
36 He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
38 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
40 The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the Lord.
