Genesis 12:6
ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೆಕೆಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಮೋರೆಯೆಂಬ ಮೈದಾನದ ವರೆಗೆ ಹಾದು ಹೋದನು. ಆಗ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರು.

ಆಗ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನ ದನಕಾಯುವವರಿಗೂ ಲೋಟನ ದನಕಾಯುವವರಿಗೂ ಜಗಳವಾಯಿತು. ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರೂ ಪೆರಿಜೀಯರೂ ಆಗ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
