ಆ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವನು--ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳು ನೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯಳಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈಕೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಜನರು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದಾರೆಂದು ಆಕೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂಜಿ ಅವನು--ಆಕೆಯು ನನ್ನ ತಂಗಿ ಅಂದನು.
