Genesis 4:11
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯನ್ನು ತೆರೆದ ಭೂಮಿಯ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ನೀನು ಶಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನಾದಿ.

ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ಈ ದಿನ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಮರೆಯಾಗಿರಬೇಕು; ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆಯು ವವನೂ ತಿರುಗಾಡುವವನೂ ಆಗಿರಬೇಕು; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಂಡವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಲ್ಲುವರು ಅಂದನು.
