Hebrews 8
1 ನಾವು ಈಗ ಹೇಳುವ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಸಾರಾಂಶವೇನಂದರೆ--ಪರಲೋಕದೊ ಳಗೆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯುಳ್ಳಾತನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನು ನಮಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
2 ಈತನು ಪವಿತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಂದಲ್ಲ, ಕರ್ತನೇ ಹಾಕಿದ ನಿಜವಾದ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ನಡಿಸುವಾತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
3 ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಕವಾಗಿರು ತ್ತಾನಷ್ಟೆ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಈತನಿಗೆ ಸಹ ಏನಾದರೂ ಇರುವದು ಅವಶ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
4 ಈತನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದೇಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಯಾಜಕ ನಾಗುವ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಯಾಜಕರು ಇದ್ದೇ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ;
5 ಅವರು ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವವಗಳ ನಿದರ್ಶನವೂ ಛಾಯೆಯೂ ಆಗಿರುವದರಲ್ಲಿ (ಆಲಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ) ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ನಡಿಸುವವರು. ಮೋಶೆಯು ದೇವರಿಂದ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದ ಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಾಗ--ನೋಡು, ನಾನು ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದ ಮಾದರಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಬೇ
6 ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಉತ್ತಮವಾದ ವಾಗ್ದಾನಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾದ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಸಹ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
7 ಆ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯು ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲ ದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಎರಡನೆಯದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶವು ಇರುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
8 ಆತನು ಆದರ ಮೇಲೆ ತಪ್ಪುಹೊರಿಸಿ ಹೀಗೆಂ ದನು--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮನೆತನ ದೊಂದಿಗೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ಮನೆತನದೊಂದಿಗೂ ಹೊಸ ದಾಗಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದಿನಗಳು ಬರುವವು.
9 ಈ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯು ನಾನು ಇವರ ಪಿತೃಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಹಿಡಿದು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶ ದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಂಥದಲ್ಲ; ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಿಲ್ಲವಾ ದದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
10 ಆ ದಿನಗಳ ತರುವಾಯ ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮನೆತನದ ವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯು ಹೀಗಿರುವದು, ಅದೇನಂದರೆ--ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡುವೆನು; ಅವರ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆಯುವೆನು; ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವೆನು. ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾಗಿರ
11 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಯೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೂ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದ ರನಿಗೂ--ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಉಪ ದೇಶಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಚಿಕ್ಕವರಿಂದ ದೊಡ್ಡವರ ವರೆಗೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅರಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
12 ನಾನು ಅವರ ಅನೀತಿಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಕರುಣೆಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅವರ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೆಂದಿಗೂ ತರುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ನುಡಿಯು ತ್ತಾನೆ.
13 ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು--ಹೊಸಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನು ಹಳೆಯದಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅದು ಹಳೇದಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಕ್ಷೀಣವಾಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಂತಾ ಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.
4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
