Isaiah 40:17
ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಂತಿವೆ; ಅವು ಆತನ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶೂನ್ಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇವೆ.

ನಾನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನ ನಾದೆನು; ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಲವಂತ ಮಾಡಿದಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದಲೇ ನನಗೆ ಹೊಗಳಿಕೆಯು ಉಂಟಾಗಬೇಕಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಏನೂ ಅಲ್ಲದವನಾದರೂ ಅತಿಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರಾದ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರಿಗಿಂತ ಯಾವದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಾನು ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾದವನಲ್ಲ.
