Jeremiah 11 - DBY (Kannada)

1 The word that came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying,ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾದ ವಾಕ್ಯವೇನಂದರೆ--ನೀವು ಈ ಒಡಂಬಡಿ ಕೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ;

2 Hear ye the words of this covenant; and speak ye unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಸಂಗ ಡಲೂ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದ ದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--

3 And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel: Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenantಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಈ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯನಾಗದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಶಾಪವಿರಲಿ.

4 which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Hearken unto my voice and do them, according to all that I command you; so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God:ಅವು ಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಕುಲುಮೆಯೊಳ ಗಿಂದಲೂ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವದೆ ಲ್ಲಾದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿ ಅವುಗಳಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಜನಾಂಗವಾಗುವಿರಿ; ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವೆನು ಅಂದೆನು.

5 that I may perform the oath that I have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. And I answered and said, Amen, Jehovah!ಈ ದಿನ ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಹಾಲೂ ಜೇನೂ ಹರಿಯುವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಈಡೇರಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂಬದೇ ಆಗ ನಾನು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು--ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಗಲಿ ಅಂದೆನು.

6 And Jehovah said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying: Hear the words of this covenant, and do them.ತರುವಾಯ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಾರಿ ಹೇಳು, ಹೇಗಂದರೆ--ಈ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿರಿ.

7 For I earnestly protested unto your fathers, in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Hearken unto my voice.ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರೆಂದು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು. ಅವರನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರ ಮಾಡಿದ ದಿನ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು,

8 But they have not hearkened, nor inclined their ear, but have walked every one in the stubbornness of their evil heart; and I have brought upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded [them] to do, and they have not done.ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ತಮ್ಮ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಹೃದಯದ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಯಂತೆ ನಡಕೊಂಡರು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂಥ, ಅವರು ಮಾಡುವಂಥ, ಈ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಾತು ಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು.

9 And Jehovah said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ-- ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಕಂಡು ಬಂದಿದೆ.

10 They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, who refused to hear my words; and they have gone after other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲೊಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವುಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಾನು ಅವರ ತಂದೆಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮನೆ ತನದವರೂ ವಿಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

11 Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will bring evil upon them, from which they shall not be able to escape; and they will cry unto me, and I will not hearken unto them.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಅವರು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳ ಲಾರದ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ತರುವೆನು; ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿದರೂ ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ,

12 Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go and cry unto the gods unto whom they have burned incense; but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble.ಆಗ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೂ ಹೋಗಿ ತಾವು ಧೂಪವನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸುವ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಗುವರು; ಇವು ಅವರ ಕೇಡಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

13 For [as] the number of thy cities, are thy gods, O Judah; and [as] the number of the streets of Jerusalem, have ye set up altars to the Shame, altars to burn incense unto Baal.ಓ ಯೆಹೂದವೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಷ್ಟು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು; ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಬೀದಿಗಳೋ ಅಷ್ಟು ಬಲಿಪೀಠಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಅಷ್ಟು ಬಲಿ ಪೀಠಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾಳನಿಗೆ ಧೂಪವನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿ ದ್ದೀರಿ.

14 And thou, pray not for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them; for I will not hear in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಈ ಜನರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಡ; ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮೊರೆ ಯನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಎತ್ತಬೇಡ; ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೇಡಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೂಗುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಕೇಳೆನು.

15 What hath my beloved to do in my house, seeing that the more part practise their evil devices, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? When thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest.ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯಳಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಕೆಲಸ, ಅವಳು ಬಹಳ ಮಂದಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾಳೆ; ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಂಸವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಯಿತು; ನೀನು ಕೆಟ್ಟತನ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸ ಪಡುತ್ತೀ.

16 Jehovah had called thy name, A green olive-tree, fair, of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and its branches are broken.ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವಾದ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಹಸುರಾದ ಇಪ್ಪೇ ಗಿಡವೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೆಸ ರಿಟ್ಟನು; ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗದ್ದಲದಿಂದ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹತ್ತಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳು ಮುರಿದು ಹೋಗಿವೆ.

17 For Jehovah of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done for themselves, to provoke me to anger in burning incense unto Baal.ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆಯವರೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮನೆಯವರೂ ನನಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಾಳನಿಗೆ ಧೂಪವನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸಿ ತಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಕೇಡಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟ ಸೈನ್ಯ ಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆಡುಕಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

18 And Jehovah hath given me knowledge, and I know [it]; then thou shewedst me their doings.ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ನಾನು ತಿಳುಕೊಂಡೆನು; ಆಗ ಅವರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದಿ.

19 And I was like a tame lamb [that] is led to the slaughter; and I knew not that they devised devices against me, [saying,] Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ವಧೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಕುರಿಯಹಾಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಎತ್ತಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದೆನು; ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸು ತ್ತಾರೆಂದೂ ಮರವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಫಲವನ್ನೂ ಕೆಡಿಸಿ ಅವನ ಹೆಸರು ಇನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಜೀವಿತರ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಡಿದು ಬಿಡೋಣ ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆಂದೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.

20 But thou, Jehovah of hosts, who judgest righteously, who triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause.ಆದರೆ ನೀತಿಯಿಂದ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸು ವಂಥ ಅಂತರಿಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನೂ ಶೋಧಿಸುವಂಥ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕಾಣುವೆನು. ನಿನಗೆ ನನ್ನ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

21 Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning the men of Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of Jehovah, that thou die not by our hand,ಆದ ದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಅನಾತೋತಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಸಾಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಡ ಎಂದು ಅನ್ನುವವರಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--

22 -- therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Behold, I punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine;ಸೈನ್ಯ ಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು ತ್ತಾನೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಾಯುವರು; ಅವರ ಕುಮಾರ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರು ಹಸಿವೆಯಿಂದ ಸಾಯುವರು.

23 and there shall be no remnant of them; for I will bring evil upon the men of Anathoth, in the year of their visitation.ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇಷವು ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ಅನಾತೋತಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಅವರ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯ ವರುಷವನ್ನೇ ತರುತ್ತೇನೆ.
