ಆಗ ಅವರು--ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸೋಣ; ಯಾಜಕ ನಿಂದ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವೂ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಿಂದ ಆಲೋಚ ನೆಯೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಿಂದ ವಾಕ್ಯವೂ ತಪ್ಪುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯೋಣ, ಅವನ ಮಾತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಲಕ್ಷಿಸದೆ ಇರೋಣ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

and let us devise וְנַחְשְׁבָ֣ה ḥāšab ha-SHAHV
against עַֽל ʿal al
Jeremiah; יִרְמְיָהוּ֮ yirmĕyâ yeer-meh-YA
devices מַחֲשָׁבוֹת֒ maḥăšābâ ma-huh-sha-VA
for כִּי֩ kî kee
shall not לֹא lōʾ loh
perish תֹאבַ֨ד ʾābad ah-VAHD
the law תּוֹרָ֜ה tôrâ toh-RA
from the priest, מִכֹּהֵ֗ן kōhēn koh-HANE
nor counsel וְעֵצָה֙ ʿēṣâ ay-TSA
from the wise, מֵֽחָכָ֔ם ḥākām ha-HAHM
nor the word וְדָבָ֖ר dābār da-VAHR
from the prophet. מִנָּבִ֑יא nābîʾ na-VEE
Come, לְכוּ֙ hālak ha-LAHK
and let us smite וְנַכֵּ֣הוּ nākâ na-HA
him with the tongue, בַלָּשׁ֔וֹן lāšôn la-SHONE
and let us not וְאַל ʾal al
give heed נַקְשִׁ֖יבָה qāšab ka-SHAHV
to אֶל ʾēl ale
any כָּל kōl kole
of his words. דְּבָרָֽיו׃ dābār da-VAHR
