Jeremiah 39:14
ಅವರು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯ ಅಂಗಳದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆಸಿ ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನು ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

ಹೀಗೆ ಹಗ್ಗಗಳಿಂದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನನ್ನು ಎಳೆದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕುಣಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎತ್ತಿದರು; ಆಮೇಲೆ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯ ಅಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದನು.
