ಆದರೆ ಬೇತೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ವೃದ್ಧನಾದ ಪ್ರವಾ ದಿಯು ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಬಂದು ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇತೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು;
