ಅರಸನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಬೇತೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಕೂಗಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ಪೀಠದ ಬಳಿ ಯಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ--ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಚಾಚಿದ ಅವನ ಕೈ ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಳಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಹಾಗೆ ಒಣಗಿಹೋಯಿತು.

ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅರಸನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ--ನೀವು ಈ ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಲ್ಪನಾದವನೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ನನಗೂ ಮಾಡಿದಂತಾಯಿತು ಅಂದನು.
ಆಮೋಸ 7:10
ಆಗ ಬೇತೇಲಿನ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನಿಗೆ-- ಆಮೋಸನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರ ಮಧ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ದೇಶವು ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ತಾಳಲಾರದು.
2 ಅರಸುಗಳು 6:18
ಅವರು ಇವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದಾಗ ಎಲೀಷನು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಈ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕುರುಡರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಎಲೀಷನ ಮಾತಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕುರುಡರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
2 ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾ 16:10
ಆಗ ಆಸನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನ ಮಾತು ಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅವನ ಮೆಲೆ ರೌದ್ರವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅದೇ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸನು ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವ ರನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸಿದನು.

ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲಿನ ಅರಸನು--ನೀವು ವಿಾಕಾಯೆಹುವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಆಮೋನನ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಅರಸನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋವಾಷನ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ದು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿರಿ--

ಆದಕಾರಣ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೋಪವು ಅಮಚ್ಯನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊತ್ತಿತು; ಆತನು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ತಮ್ಮ ಜನ ರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಲಾರದ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ನೀನು ಹುಡುಕುವದೇನು ಅಂದನು.
ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 105:15

ಯೆರೆಮಿಯ 38:4
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಆ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ --ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಸಾಯಲಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇವನು ಇಂಥಾ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಆಡಿ ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯುದ್ಧಸ್ಥರ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಲಹೀನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಜನರ ಕ್ಷೇಮವನ್ನಲ್ಲ ಅವರ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
ಪ್ರಕಟನೆ 11:5
ಇವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ನಾದರೂ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ಇವರ ಬಾಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹೊರಟು ಇವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿ ಬಿಡುವದು; ಇವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಲೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು.
