ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಭಕ್ಷ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ಮಡಕೆ ಜೇನು ತುಪ್ಪವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗು. ಅವನು ಮಗುವಿಗೆ ಆಗುವದನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವನು ಅಂದನು.

ಅರಸನು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಕೂಡ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಚೇತರಿಸಿಕೋ. ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಒಂದು ಬಹುಮಾನ ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

ಆದದ ರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವವನು ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.

ಆಗ ಅವನೂ ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪರಿವಾರದವರೂ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದರು. ಅವನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತು--ಇಗೋ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲೆ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರು ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು; ಆದಕಾರಣ ನೀನು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಿಂದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೋ ಅಂದನು.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನು--ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಬಾ; ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನು ಹತ್ತು ತಲಾಂತು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಆರು ಸಾವಿರ ಬಂಗಾರದ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹತ್ತು ದುಸ್ತು ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಹಜ್ಯನು ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತನ್ನ ಮೇಲು ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯ ಜಾಲರು ಕಿಟಿಕಿ ಯಿಂದ ಬಿದ್ದು ರೋಗಿಷ್ಟನಾದದರಿಂದ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಕರೆದು--ನೀವು ಎಕ್ರೋನಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಬಾಳ್ಜೆಬೂಬನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ--ನಾನು ಈ ರೋಗದಿಂದ ವಾಸಿಯಾ ಗುವೇನೋ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಲು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
