ಆದರೆ ಆ ಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಆಲಯ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಡದೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಎತ್ತರದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
