2 Kings 6:14
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕುದುರೆ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ರಥಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಹಾಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ದನು. ಅವರು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡರು.

ಆಗ ಸೌಲನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ದಾವೀದನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಹುಡುಕಲು ಕಾಡು ಮೇಕೆಗಳಿರುವ ಬಂಡೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು.
2 ಅರಸುಗಳು 1:9
ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಐವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಐವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಇವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು ಇವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಇವನು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತುದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಎಲೀಯನಿಗೆ--ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೇ, ಇಳಿದು ಬಾ ಎಂದು ಅರಸನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನು ಲಾಕೀಷಿನಿಂದ ತರ್ತಾನ ನನ್ನೂ ರಬ್ಸಾರೀಸನನ್ನೂ ರಬ್ಷಾಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದಂಡನ್ನೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀ ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅರಸನ ಹೊಲದ ರಾಜ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮೇಲಿನ ಕೆರೆಯ ಕಾಲುವೆಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತರು. ಅವರು ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಕರೇ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
