ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಲು ಯೆಹೂದದವರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ದನು.

ಯಾಜಕಕಾಂಡ 7:11
ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಸಮಾ ಧಾನ ಯಜ್ಞಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಗಳ ನಿಯಮವು ಇದೇ:
1 ಅರಸುಗಳು 18:30
ಆಗ ಎಲೀಯನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನರಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ ಅಂದನು; ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಕರ್ತನ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಅವನು ದುರಸ್ತು ಮಾಡಿದನು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯದಿಂದುಂಟಾದ ಅರಸನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲು ದೇವರ ಕೈ ಯೆಹೂ ದದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತು.

ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಕರ್ತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮುಂದೆ ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಿದ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಯೆಹೂದದವರೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯು ಮಾಡಿದನು.

ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗದಂತೆ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನೀನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
