ಯೋವಾಬನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಸೈನ್ಯವೂ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವರು ಯೋವಾಬನಿಗೆ--ನೇರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬ್ನೇರನು ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು; ಅವನು ಇವನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದರು.
