Genesis 34:20
ಆಗ ಹಮೋರನೂ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶೆಕೆಮನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ದ್ವಾರದ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಜನರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--

ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸಿರಿ; ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿರಿ; ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೋಸೇ ಫನ ಉಳಿದವರನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸಬಹುದು.

ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅನೇಕ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಘೋರವಾದ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು; ಅವರು ನೀತಿವಂತರನ್ನು ಬಾಧೆಪಡಿಸಿ ಲಂಚವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡರು; ಬಾಗಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಡವರ ನ್ಯಾಯ ವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸದೆ ಅವರು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
ಆಮೋಸ 5:10
ಅವರು ಬಾಗಿಲಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆದರಿಸುವ ನನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾ ಡುವವನನ್ನು ಅವರು ಅಸಹ್ಯಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ನೀನು ಆ ಗಂಡಸನ್ನಾದರೂ ಹೆಂಗಸ ನ್ನಾದರೂ ಆ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಗಂಡಸನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಂಗಸನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದು ಅವರು ಸಾಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯಬೇಕು.
ಆದಿಕಾಂಡ 23:10
ಆಗ ಎಫ್ರೋನನು ಹೇತನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಹಿತ್ತೀಯನಾದ ಎಫ್ರೋನನು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೇತನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಕೇಳುವಂತೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--

ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿ ಸಿಯೇ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವೆನು; ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ತೀರ ದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮರಳಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವೆನು; ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನವು ತನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ದ್ವಾರವನ್ನು ವಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು.
