Leviticus 4:15
ಸಭೆಯ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಆ ಹೋರಿಯ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ಅದನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ವಧಿಸಬೇಕು.

ಕರ್ತನು ಮೇಘದೊಳಗೆ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವನ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಹಿರಿಯರಾದ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟನು. ಆತ್ಮವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾಗ ಅವರು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಿದರು. ಅದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 11:16
ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಜನರ ಹಿರಿಯರೆಂದೂ ಅವರ ಮೇಲಿನ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಸ್ಥರೆಂದೂ ನೀನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಂಥ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಹಿರಿಯರೊ ಳಗೆ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ. ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿಂತಿರಲಿ.
ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 8:10
ನೀನು ಲೇವಿ ಯರನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರತರಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಲೇವಿಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಡಬೇಕು.

ಆರೋನನು ಆ ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ಆಡಿನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಎರಡೂ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಪಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದ್ರೋಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಡಿನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಿಸಿ ಯೋಗ್ಯನಾದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಅಡವಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಡಬೇಕು.

ಅವನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಯ ಟಗರಾದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಟಗರನ್ನು ತಂದನು; ಆರೋನನೂ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾ ರರೂ ಆ ಟಗರಿನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟರು.

ಅವನು ಆ ಹೋರಿ ಯನ್ನು ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಎದುರಿಗೆ ತಂದು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಅದರ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲಿಟ್ಟು ಆ ಹೋರಿಯನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ವಧಿಸ ಬೇಕು.
ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 24:9
ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯೂ ಅರೋನನೂ ನಾದಾಬನೂ ಅಬೀಹುವೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಜನರೂ ಏರಿಹೋದರು.
