ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರವಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಧಾನ್ಯ ವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬರುವವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಬಂದರು.

ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಬರವಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಬರ ಬಂದಿತು. ಆಗ ಇಸಾಕನು ಗೆರಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು.
