Leviticus 4:34
ಯಾಜಕನು ಅದರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬೆರಳಿನಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ದಹನಬಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಕೊಂಬುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಚ್ಚ ಬೇಕು. ಉಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಯ್ಯಬೇಕು.

ಯಾಜಕನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರ ದೊಳಗಿರುವ ಸುವಾಸನೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಧೂಪ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಕೊಂಬುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹಚ್ಚಬೇಕು; ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಆ ಹೋರಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದಹನಬಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಯ್ಯಬೇಕು.

ರೋಮಾಪುರದವರಿಗೆ 8:1
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರುವವರಿಗೆ ಅಪರಾಧ ನಿರ್ಣಯವು ಈಗ ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಇವರು ಶರೀರಕ್ಕನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಆತ್ಮನಿಗನುಸಾರವಾಗಿಯೇ ನಡೆಯುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
