ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 14

1 ದೇವರಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಮೂರ್ಖನು ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವರು ಕೆಟ್ಟುಹೋಗಿ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವನು ಯಾವನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

2 ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತನು ಇದ್ದಾನೋ ಎಂದು ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಣ್ಣಿಟ್ಟನು.

3 ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಏಕವಾಗಿ ಹೊಲೆ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವನು ಇಲ್ಲ; ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

4 ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸದೆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ಅಪರಾಧಮಾಡಿದವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲವೋ?

5 ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಭಯಭ್ರಾಂತ ರಾದರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ದೇವರು ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಸಂತತಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.

6 ಕರ್ತನು ಬಡವನ ಆಶ್ರಯವಾಗಿರು ವದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಅವನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ.

7 ಚೀಯೋನಿನಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯು ಬರಲಿ; ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿ ಸುವನು, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುವನು.

2 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

3 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

4 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

5 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord.

6 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.

7 Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge.

8 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
